Bus is the cheapest of option to travel from Kuala Lumpur to Taman Negara. However, please take note, you may require the longest traveling time to get there. From Jerantut to Taman Negara

Jerantut is the nearest town to Taman Negara. It is connected to Taman Negara by Jungle Bus. Two (2) bus operators, Bas Latif and Pahang Lin Siong serve on  this route.

They have limited trips in a day and the schedule might be changed without notice. Estimated journey takes 1 hr – 1 hr 30 min, that depends on number of stops to pick up or drop off passengers along the route. As a reminder, there is no toilet facility along the road. Therefore, it is better for you to go to the restroom before get into the bus.

After 1 hr – 1 hr 30 min bus ride, you will reach Kuala Tahan, Taman Negara bus stop. The bus stop is located at the central part of Kampung Kuala Tahan. Most of the resorts, guest house, chalets and hostels in Kuala Tahan are located within your working distance from the bus stop. A few, need a boat ride to reach the resorts. Check your resort exact location before arrival.

From Kuala Lumpur to Jerantut, then to Taman Negara

From Kuala Lumpur, you can go straight to Jerantut. There are two (2) bus providers operate on this route. The buses depart from Stesen Bas Pekeliling, Kuala Lumpur to Stesen Bas Jerantut, and vice versa. From your hotel in Kuala Lumpur get either Monorail Transit System (MRT) or Light Rail Transit (LRT) to Stesen Bas Pekeliling. Disembark at Titiwangsa Station, the nearest MRT and LRT stations  to the bus station (in walking distance).
