Overview

This thrilling Real Inner Jungle package is suitable for those who really love the nature – back to nature expedition. This trekking activity is suitable if you are physical fit and healthy. In this unique exploration, you shall trek estimated 32.3km on nature trails under the rainforest canopy.  You will experiencing acceding & descending hills or crossing the rivers and overnight in the cave and hides.

In the morning, meet your nature guide at our operation counter in Kuala Tahan. Collect your camping gear, food and water. Fill in a Declaration Form for Wildlife Officer approval. Start your journey with boat rides to the Canopy walkway, enjoy the world’s longest canopy then continue to Kuala Keniam by boat and trekking to the cave.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1
9.30 am- Assemble at our tour operator office in Kuala Tahan
- Meet guide and collect camping gear, food and water
- Take a boat crossing to Park Ranger Office to declare things we bring and checking by the
officer from Wildlife Department. Buy park permit and camera licence.
- Boat ride about 15 minutes to Canopy Walkway
(Note: Close for repairing & maintenance from 2 Mar’18 until further notice).
- After Canopy Walkway, continue boat ride up to Kuala Keniam
(about 1 ½ hours; sometime longer depending on the water level)
- Have packed lunch
- Start trekking 8.2 KM to Kepayang Besar Cave
6.00 pm- Arrive at Kepayang Besar Cave and prepare for dinner
- Rest and sleep in the Cave
Day 2
8.00 am- Prepare for breakfast
- Start trekking to Kumbang Hide (about 8 KM)
- Have lunch en-route (instant noodle)
5.00 pm- Arrive at Kumbang Hide
- Prepare for dinner
- Animal observation and sleep in the Hide
Day 3
8.00 am- Prepare for breakfast
- Start trekking 13 KM to Tabing Hide/Chegar Anjing Hide
- Have lunch en-route
6.00 pm- Arrive at Tabing Hide/Chegar Anjing Hide
- Prepare for dinner
- Animal observation and sleep in the Hide
Day 4
8.00 am- Prepare for breakfast
- Trekking back to Kuala Tahan (about 3.1 KM)
