Overview

Kuala Gandah Elephant Santuary is located in Lancang Pahang, about 110km from Kuala Lumpur or 1.5 hrs driving. This is an ideal place for you to stop off before continue your journey to Taman Negara. On your way to the Sanctuary, we take you either to Deerland Park, Kuala Gandah or Batu Caves (Batu Caves is available on Friday only).

Enjoy and experience the sanctuary where the elephants are treated with kindness and respect. Most of the elephants are rescued from other parts of this country and helped here. Feed the elephants, and watching or bathing the baby elephants in the river.

Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary is great place for educational tour. Introduce the nature to our young generation. Let them get closer to the largest mammal in the rainforest ambience.

The Nature Guide will lead your group to explore the sanctuary and show you the interesting flora and fauna around the area. On top of that, you have the opportunity to see behind the scene such as chopping the elephants food and learn how ranger rescue the elephant.

DAY ONE
8.00 am	Pick up from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur
8.30 am	Depart to Batu Cave for visit. The biggest, known as Temple or Cathedral Cave, features ornate Hindu shrines and has a high ceiling that opens up to the sky. Entry is free, but to reach it, visitors must first climb a steep flight of 272 steps.
9.30 am	Depart tu Kuala Gandah National Elephant Centre
11.30 pm	Welcome to Kuala Gandah, Elephant Sanctuary and simple lunch • Guided tour • Tour around the centre including Gallery Gandah, a place where you will know the history of the establishment of Kuala Gandah • Feeding elephants in the grazing area and baby elephant enclosure • Get know the elephant at the back of their enclosure • Informative Show
12.30 pm	Lunch
1.00 pm	Visit Dearland Park Lanchang Pahang (ticket excluded, RM7)
1.30 pm	Depart to Kuala Tahan, Taman Negara
4.00 pm	Welcome to Taman Negara and check in as requested (When arrived by boat/bus to jetty Taman Negara, kindly going to wild life counter before 1800 hrs (Counter closed) to make park permit (RM 1.00) and camera license (RM 5.00)-need name, passport/identity card number and country.
7.30 pm	Dinner at resort
8.30 pm	Night Jungle Walk & visit Tahan Hide
DAY TWO
8.00 am	Breakfast
9.30 am	Jungle Trekking to Bukit Teresik & Canopy Walkway
1.00pm	Lunch at Floating Restaurant
3.00pm	Boat ride for Rapid Shooting (shoot the 5 major rapids towards Sungai Trenggan). Be prepared to get wet. Stop by at Orang Asli Village - to learn some survival skills and to know about their culture and lifestyle
7.30 pm	Dinner

DAY THREE
7.30am	Breakfast
9.00am	Shuttle boat transfer from Kuala Tahan Jetty to Kuala Tembeling Jetty (2.5 hours journey). Note: This shuttle boat service availability and duration are subject to river water level. We will replace with land transfer if required.
11.30 am	Bus/van transfer from Kuala Tembeling Jetty to Jerantut.
12.00 pm	Lunch in Jerantut
1.00 pm	Shuttle bus / van departs from Jerantut to Kuala Lumpur
4.00 pm	Estimated time arrival in Jalan Sultan, Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur.
