Overview

Let’s conquer the highest peak in Peninsular Malaysia, Gunung Tahan (2,187m). If you have courage to ascend and descend mountains, crossing rivers, long distance hiking and camping for nights, this might be one of your best experiences in life.

Gunung Tahan, is one of the most challenging mountains to climb. It’s about 32km from Kuala Juram, Sg Relau, Merapoh and 53km from Kampung Kuala Tahan. This trail requires you to be mentally and physically fit. Be prepared and enjoy your thrilling nature journey.

This package start in Merapoh, Kuala Lipis, Pahang, and ends in Kuala Tahan, Jerantut, Pahang (about 300 km apart by road). You must have clear plan how to get there (either by self-drive or train or public bus). We suggest you reach in Merapoh one day earlier and have enough sleep before the hiking. On completion of your expedition in Kuala Tahan, you may have options such as getting shuttle services, public bus or taxi to your next destination.
