Overview

Get the entry permit from Wildlife office and embark by 4WD to the Elephant Cave trailhead. Then start trekking on nature trail 4km to the cave. Set up your sleeping base, having your dinner and get ready to sleep. Refresh yourself early in the morning and trek back to the drop off point. Proceed to Kuala Juram with 4WD.

Feed the king of freshwater fish, Red Mahseer at Kuala Juram Kelah Sanctuary. Feel the fish bites on your finger and try your skill to catch them with your bare hands.

Then, trekking 11km under the rainforest canopy from Kuala Juram to Lata Luis. This is one of best trails in Malaysia (The Gunung Tahan Trail).

Relaxing, wading or swimming at crystal clear Luis waterfall. Set up your tent and cook your own dinner.  Sleep in your tent at Lata Luis campsite. In the morning, prepare your own breakfast and get ready to hike back to Kuala Juram. Embark by 4WD from Kuala Juram to Sungai Relau.

The small number of visitors is one of the key factors makes Taman Negara Sungai Relau remain intact. Therefore, it should be in the list of must-visit places for those who love nature and pristine rainforest.
