How to make a Booking?

Overview

This exciting Real Inner Jungle adventure is perfect for true nature lovers seeking a full back-to-nature experience. During this special journey, you will trek an 8.6 km trail (about 5–6 hours) under the lush rainforest canopy, enjoy swimming at Lata Berkoh, and take a boat ride along the Tahan and Tembeling rivers.

In the morning, meet your nature guide at our counter in Kuala Tahan. Collect your packed lunch and drinking water, and fill out a Declaration Form to submit to the Wildlife Office. Your expedition begins once the Park Ranger grants approval.

  • Prepare to get wet when cruising with local wooden boat.
  • Sport based shoe, slipper, or river sandal.
  • Insect repellent.
  • Enough energy for outdoor activity.
  • Sign up for insurance coverage by your own.
  • Bring set of clothes to change.
  • Mosquito repellent.
  • Rain coat, swimming attire, or t-shirt with shorts.
  • Personal medication (inform guide if any).
  • Straps to secure glasses if you wear glasses.
  • Goggles if you wear contact lenses.
  • Plastic bags for wet clothes.
  • Some drinking water.

Itinerary

Daytrip :

09.15 am — Gather at AsiaCamp Resort lobby, or we can pick you up from your hotel in Kuala Tahan.
(At reception, ask to meet Mr. Hamizal.)

09.30 am
• Meet your nature guide and collect your packed lunch and drinking water.
• Begin trekking from Kuala Tahan to Lata Berkoh (about 8.6 km, 5 to 6 hours).
• Enjoy swimming at Lata Berkoh and have your packed lunch.
• Visit Kelah Sanctuary for fish feeding.
• Stop at Tualang Tree, the tallest tree in Taman Negara, and take photos.

5.00 pm — Take a boat ride back to Kuala Tahan (about 30 minutes).

5.30 pm — Estimated end time of the tour.

You can book in a separate booking as mentioned in the link below. You may book early so we can prepare the tourist guide accordingly if you are confident that you have enough energy to join the extra activity.

Day 1

6.00 pm Bird Spotting only at AsiaCamp(no tour guide, our team will assist you)

Join our team at the lobby for a free bird spotting activity with a spotting scope. Mr. Jais and his team have identified 15 species of birds around AsiaCamp. You can record bird moments by using your phone and combine the phone with the spotting scope.

Feel free to tip our staff if you’re satisfied (optional).

6.00 pm Mountain Herbs by Aboriginal People (RM10 per pax, paid directly to Aboriginal People)

8.30 pm Supper in Floating Restaurant (Pick up for free by AsiaCamp Resort)

Important Notes

  • Surcharge RM300.00 is applicable for solo traveler
  • Surcharge RM50 perpax during 1 July – 31 August.
  • For order less than 48 hours, booking is subjected to Tourist guide and room availability. We will discuss any change with you on how we can make your tour success if change need to be made. Any refund is subjected to 10% management cost as last option of your booking.
  • We will request by using PayPal to your e-mail after booking has been made.
