This journey begins with a scenic four-hour drive to the jetty. Along the way, stop at villages, a Dayak trading town, and a Chinese farmhouse growing pepper and cocoa. Lunch at Lachau adds to the cultural experience before a longboat ride to the Iban Longhouse. Explore traditional life, including mat weaving, net making, and local handicrafts. Facilities are simple, encouraging visitors to embrace the authentic Iban lifestyle. Enjoy local dishes, warm hospitality, and evening dance performances with rice wine tasting.
On the second day, watch cock-fighting and a blow-pipe hunting demo. Join a jungle walk to learn about plants used for food and medicine. Conclude with a longboat ride downriver and a return drive to Kuching. This trip offers a deep cultural immersion into the Iban way of life.

Itinerary
Day 1 — Kuching to Iban Longhouse
- 0800 Pick up from hotel lobby and depart by vehicle
- Drive about four hours to the jetty with scenic countryside views
- Stop at roadside villages and Dayak trading town along the way
- Visit Chinese farmhouse growing pepper and cocoa for local insight
- Enjoy lunch at Lachau town before continuing to jetty
- Upon arrival, board longboat ride to Iban Longhouse destination
- Explore Longhouse, see mat weaving, net making, and handicrafts
- Purchase local crafts directly from the friendly Iban community
- Settle in at Longhouse, basic facilities with no hot water
- Savor local dishes and warm hospitality from Iban hosts
- Evening dance performance and sample traditional rice wine “Tuak”
- Overnight stay at Longhouse for full cultural experience
Day 2 — Iban Longhouse to Kuching
- 0700 Breakfast at Longhouse with local ingredients and flavors
- Watch cock-fighting demonstration, a traditional Iban past-time

- Join a jungle walk to learn about native plants
- Discover plants used for food, medicine, and handicrafts

- For order less than 48 hours, booking is subjected to Tourist guide and room availability. We will discuss any change with you on how we can make your tour success if change need to be made. Any refund is subjected to 10% management cost as last option of your booking.
