Step 1: Intercity Bus from Kuala Lumpur to Jerantut

There are a few providers operate on this route. The buses depart from Stesen Bas Pekeliling, Kuala Lumpur to Stesen Bas Jerantut, and vice versa. Stesen Bas Pekeliling is connected with Monorail Transit System (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT). The nearest MRT and LRT stations are located at Titiwangsa.

Step 2: Connecting Bus from Jerantut to Kuala Tahan

This route are served by 2 bus operators, Bas Latif and Pahang Lin Siong. They have limited trips in a day and the schedule might be changed without notice. Estimated journey takes 1 to 1 ½ hour  that depends on it stops to pick up or drop off passengers along the route. As a reminder, there is no toilet facility along the road. Therefore, it is better for you to go to the restroom before get into the bus.

Step 3: Arrival in Taman Negara and Check in

The last stopping point after your 1-1 1/2 ride is at Stesen Bas Kuala Tahan. This station is located at the central part of Kampung Kuala Tahan activities and in a walking distance to the resorts, guest house, chalets and hostels in Kuala Tahan.

 

Note: Taxi services

Taxi services are available from Kuala Lumpur to Taman Negara. You can hire a taxi to fetch you from your hotel straight to Kuala Tahan. This is the most expensive transfer to Taman Negara. It is estimated about RM400.00 to RM500.00 per taxi – one way.
